Easy morning routine
Do you wake up daily reaching for your cellphone to start your day by reading emails, news, texts, watching social media and other stimulants?
maybe you are having a cup of coffee as you do this and then feel frustrated after looking at your phone.
Give the following quick and simple activity a go to create a different day for yourself:
BREATHE - as you wake up by really breathing in through your nose and exhaling the sound “shhh” out your mouth in a fluid motion.
GRATITUDE - verbalize with emotion what you are grateful for in your life. Start with your breath, health, good nights rest, significant other, the cup of coffee waiting for you, etc and say it with emotion.
MOVEMENT - slowly move your body as you stretch your arms up in the air, breathing oxygen in and out into all parts of your body (do this while brewing your coffee/tea).
INTENTION - write down and verbalize your intention for the day you want to experience.
ACTION - do what you intended for the day by focusing only on that, forget all the stuff in the middle and experience the outcome.
Destiny
Has the current global change spark a fire within to upgrade and enhance your life?
Do you remember your desires and dreams that were placed on hold?
Below are somethings to consider:
1- Start a journal 2- Take your time 3- Write without limiting yourself
Desires: 1- What would you love to be doing in your life that uplifts you? 2- Do you remember your desires from childhood, teenage years, college years, etc?
Skills: 1- what comes natural to you? 2- what skills have you learned or gathered until this point of your life?
Opportunities & Challenges: 1- what blockages are you faced with right now? 2- what opportunities have opened up for you?
Spirit: 1- Do you have any kind of spiritual practice (prayer, meditation, breathing, etc)? 2- Have you been guided to read, practice or seek any spiritual resources?
Once you have finished, read the questions 3 times out loud with the answers so you hear your self.
Next:
1- Make time for yourself, sit quietly, go for a walk, drive or a bike ride, etc (what you are able to do) and pay attention to the thoughts that come to you.
2- Write them down immediately or record your thoughts audibly then write them (writing causes thinking). Work with that information without focusing on how you are going to do anything.
3- Put all of your attention on what you want to do allowing everything to open up for you. Follow the guidance that comes in different forms: intuition, a friend, song, instinctively, movie, text, feeling, book, etc., it will come therefore you must be aware and take action without hesitation.
